IRELAND XO: My People, My Place, My Heritage

  • IARC are providing training for My People, My Place, My Heritage: Training Initiative. This is an initiative of NTLP aimed at empowering communities in North Tipperary to maximize the benefit of the IRELAND XO programme for their localities.
Training is to be delivered concurrently from bases in the Nenagh and Thurles areas and will provide an introduction to Genealogy, Diaspora studies, Landscape Interpretation, Folklore/Oral history, Contemporary Arts for Ireland XO, Ireland XO Web Site Management, Ireland X0 Volunteer Guides, XO Event/Hospitality/Communications management. This is proving to be very successful and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We break for the summer but will be resuming in the Autumn 2013 on this initiative.
