IRISH ANCESTRY RESEARCH CENTRE  – Terms and Conditions

These terms shall govern the relationship between you and  the Irish Ancestry Research Centre (IARC).

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

IARC offers an online web platform and related services where users can research their family history, and also enrol in courses in family history and genealogy.  IARC also offer publishing and digitisation services, as well as ancestry walk-in services at their offices in Limerick City, Ireland.

The different services and related payment systems are published on the relevant IARC website page.

COMPLIANCE OBLIGATIONS 

You must comply with all relevant and applicable laws. You must refrain from infringing any third-party rights or interests and you shall not knowingly submit incorrect, inaccurate, offensive or defamatory content.

ORDER FULFILLMENT.

On receipt of your specific request form and the appropriate, related payment IARC will email or call you to confirm the time frame and other relevant details to fulfil your specific request. For example, an “initial family history” request usually takes about 4-6 weeks.  Regardless of the specific nature of the order request a formal communication will be sent to you with the fulfillment details and likely time frame for completing your request.

COMMUNICATIONS

IARC will send an electronic mail to you or call you for the purpose of informing you of changes or additions to your order request.

REFUNDS POLICY.

IARC is not usually able to give refunds for research and education work purchased on its web site. Where refunds are made, it is at our discretion. If you experience any problem with your payment please contact us on +353 61 207114 or email: info@irisharc.org

FAMILY HISTORY RESEARCH.

In terms of all our research you understand that IARC can make no guarantees regarding what information, if any, may be found. Any conclusions will be based on the weight of available evidence. The availability of information varies from area to area, from case to case, and as such, every genealogical query may not get resolved.
